# Hylo XP (Points Program)

## How to Earn XP

XP is earned by holding various products from Hylo. Each product rewards users with a base payout per dollar and time held. You can learn more about these payouts in the respective Season pages, or in the Points page in the dApp.

## Referrals

Each user gets a custom referral code. Share your code on socials and earn **10% of your friends' total XP** on Hylo.

## Tiers

Climb XP tiers until **Great Hylord (Lv. 200)** and accumulate crowns along the way.

## Crowns

Crowns are earned at each XP tier crossed. The purpose of crowns will be revealed before the end of the point program.

## Boosts

Boosts increase the base payouts of relevant activities and are cumulative.

## Seasons

The Hylo XP program will consist of various **Seasons**, each an evolution of the previous one. Each Season will have:

* Varied duration
* New boosts
* New integrations and ways to earn

Seasons reward sustained engagement with the Hylo product suite as it grows and expands, while keeping the XP mechanics fresh.
